— Mel Kaufmann —
Author of The Millionaire’s Handbook
Founder of The Link System
In 1981 Mel Kaufmann began his journey into “networking” as a marketing representative for the Wilshire Chamber of Commerce in Los Angeles, CA. Kaufmann found that members would attend events with the hope of obtaining new business. These members often left these events disappointed. They did not know how to convert Meetings into Money.
Kauffman realized that “networking” was the root problem. At that time, “networking” was an undefined, frivolous activity, lacking structure and intent. Beginning in 1981 Kaufmann gave short presentations to new members, and over time transformed “networking” into a discipline known as THE LINK SYSTEM. Kaufmann then refined this discipline into a teachable skill. Now THE LINK SYSTEM can be taught to anyone willing to put in the time, effort, and resources.
In October of 2004 Mindy Selinger and PowerPartner Connections was invited to become the first authorized affiliate to offer THE LINK SYSTEM.
